The Reuter Center Singers are a unique component of OLLI’s community spirit, and their schedule includes a fall and spring concert and other community performances.
New Reuter Center Singers are always welcomed with no audition needed ever. Come join the fun!
Directed by Chuck Taft, the group studies and performs classical, popular, show tunes and other favorites. The Singers rehearse weekly on Monday evenings from 6:15-8:15 p.m. A fee of $100 is collected by the Singers for each term in August and January, and OLLI membership is required to participate.
With more than 20 years as a singing organization, the Reuter Center Singers have been defined by community and partnership from the beginning. They perform music ranging from Bach to the Beatles and beyond. The Singers’ very first season began an unbroken tradition of participating in civic events and ceremonies to engage the communities in which they live. Their music brings togetherness, and singing provides many healthy benefits.
