The Asheville Senior Chorus rehearses at the Reuter Center, and their schedule includes fall, winter holiday and spring concerts and other community performances.
New singers are always welcomed with no audition needed ever. Come join the fun!
Directed by Chuck Taft, the group studies and performs classical, popular, show tunes and other favorites. The Chorus rehearses weekly on Monday evenings from 6:15-8:15 p.m. A fee of $100 is collected by the Chorus in August and January.
Formerly known as the Reuter Center Singers, with more than 20 years as a singing organization, the Chorus has been defined by community and partnership from the beginning. They perform music ranging from Bach to the Beatles and beyond. The Chorus continues the Reuter Center Singers’ unbroken tradition of participating in civic events and ceremonies to engage the communities in which they live. Their music brings togetherness, and singing provides many healthy benefits.
